Meningen bakom "Ragdoll" Katter
Ragdoll-katter är kända i vardagsspråket som "floppy cats", de fick trots allt sitt namn, "Ragdoll" från att vara floppy. Många Ragdoll-katter är kända för att bokstavligen "floppa". De älskar att bli hanterade och blir ofta slappa när de plockas upp – därav dess namn och smeknamn, floppy cat (och anledningen till vårt webbplatsnamn – Floppycats) .
En liten Ragdoll Cat History
Ragdolls historia är inte så omfattande eftersom Ragdolls är en relativt ny kattras jämfört med andra. De första Ragdolls föddes upp i Kalifornien på 1960-talet av Anne Baker.
Baker födde upp en vit angora-persisk kattdrottning, Josephine, som hade ett Himalaya-pälsmönster (siamesiskt) till vackra långhåriga burmesiska far- och birmanhanar. Aveln resulterade i katter av betydande storlek, icke-mattande päls och ett mycket jämnt sinne.
Kattungarna med det önskade utseendet hölls och fodrades noggrant för att hålla stammen ren. Faktum är att alla Ragdolls måste vara ättlingar till Josephine. Ingen annan stam av persiska, birmaniska eller burmesiska har introducerats. Ragdoll-kattens egenskaper kan bara hittas hos Josephines ättlingar där Ragdolls historia finns. Ragdoll Cat Breed Characteristics

Ragdoll Cat Colors, Points &Patterns
Även om det inte finns flera Ragdoll-kattraser, finns det flera Ragdoll-färger och -mönster. Alla Ragdoll-katter föds vita, men när de växer utvecklar de en mängd olika färger och mönster, som syns i ragdoll-färgens utveckling. De är färgspetsade katter, vilket betyder att deras kroppar är ljusare i färgen än deras extremiteter. Det finns några olika alternativ du kan välja om du letar efter en Ragdoll-katt till salu.
Rädda en Ragdoll Cat
Ett alternativ är Ragdoll räddningsorganisationer. Black Ragdolls are also referred to as solid Ragdolls, precisely due to the absence of the points on their coats.
